What DTF is
Direct to Film: the design is printed on film, coated with adhesive powder and transferred to fabric with a heat press. The result is a bright full-color print with sharp edges that holds on any fabric: cotton, synthetics, blends, canvas.
When to choose DTF
- A multicolor design with gradients and fine details.
- Runs from 30 pieces, when screen printing does not pay off.
- Printing on dark fabric without an underlay.

Durability
The print withstands 50+ washes at 30-40 °C and does not crack or fade with proper care.
Comparison
DTG is softer to the touch but only for cotton. Screen printing is cheaper on large runs with 1-3 colors. Embroidery is for small logos with a premium look.
DTF or DTG: which to choose
Both methods print full color without stencils; the difference is the carrier. DTF transfers the print from film with a heat press, so it works on any fabric, including synthetics and dark fabrics, and stays cost-effective on runs from 30 pieces. DTG prints ink directly into the fibers: softer to the touch and more accurate in halftones, but only on cotton and only for small batches. For a corporate run we recommend DTF; for a photo print on light cotton - DTG.
Artwork requirements
Raster at 300 dpi or more at actual size, or vector, CMYK color model, no semi-transparency on dark fabric. Maximum print area 40x50 cm in one pass.
Frequently asked questions about DTF
- Can you feel the print on the fabric? Yes, there is a thin film layer: softer than plastisol screen printing, denser than DTG.
- Can you print on caps and tote bags? Yes, on any fabric and any shape that fits in the heat press.
- What about white on dark fabric? A white underlay is printed automatically, so the colors stay bright.

What the price depends on
We quote every order from your artwork, not from a price list, because six things change the price:
- Fabric. Carded, combed or compact combed cotton. They differ in smoothness, density and how the fabric holds up after washing.
- Sewing. Cut, number of seams, complexity: oversized fit, hood, pockets, cuffs.
- Threads and trims. Drawstrings, eyelets, zippers, labels.
- Packaging. Individual bag, box, logo sticker or no packaging.
- Quantity. From 30 pieces. The larger the batch, the lower the unit price.
- Decoration method. DTF, DTG, screen printing or embroidery. Each has its own cost and limits on colours and print area.

How to order
- Brief. Send your artwork in any format and the quantity. We agree on fabric, colour and size range.
- Sample. We sew and print one piece for your approval.
- Production. Our own workshop, 15 seamstresses, quality control at every stage.
- Check and delivery. Every item is inspected, then delivered in Tashkent, across Uzbekistan and to CIS countries.
Test print and guarantee
Before the run we make a test print on the same fabric that goes into the batch and send you a photo or show it to you live in the workshop. If the result does not match the mockup in color or size, we redo the test print for free. Finished items are checked one by one, and printing defects are replaced at our expense. We deliver in Tashkent ourselves; across Uzbekistan and the CIS - by courier company.
